2010 Chinese Spring Festival 3rd Annual Go Tournament

Equipments: Players are urged to bring your equipments (sets, boards, game clocks). But it is OK to not do so if you do not have any. We will prepare some extra sets.

Rules:

  1. Players of each pair can negotiate handicap before game starts.
  2. For even games, Chinese rule will be used. The komi will be 3 and 3/4 stones (black needs to have 184 and 1/2 stones or more to win a game).
  3. Because of the time constraints, players are required to play at a reasonable pace. We may use game clocks in some or all games depending on the availability of game clocks.
  4. The tournament Format will be decided and announced after we have all registration forms in. Previous tournaments were paired using Swiss-McMahon system.

We encourage everyone to participate. Please spread the word out and let.s have lots of fun and make some new friends too!
